Azure Dragon Labs is a solo indie studio. One developer, known around here as Sect Leader Warclaws, building the games he always wanted to play.
The short version: a longtime fan of xianxia, wuxia, and LitRPG novels found there were not many games that took the genre seriously. The cultivation, the sect politics, the face-saving, the rush of a breakthrough that comes too early and costs too much. So the forge was lit.
Two projects are in active development. Xianxia Battle Arena is the proving ground: a browser battle game where combat is generated live, bout by bout. Sect Leader Simulator is the mountain itself: a management sim where you guide a sect of characters who make their own decisions, headed to Steam.
Everything is built in the open. Devlogs, playtests, and the occasional hard lesson are all posted along the way.
